Learn how to make the perfect cupcake and then how to decorate it with sumptuous icing to wow all your friends and family. You will each bake 12 cupcakes and decorate them with piped Swiss meringue icing to create 6 different floral icing effects.
On this course you will learn:
- How to make Swiss buttercream icing
- Hints and tips to perfect your cupcakes
- A range of piping techniques including how to pipe a Rose amongst other flowers
- How to colour your buttercream to achieve the shade you’d like
- How to create 2 tone icing
This is a fairly intense 5 hour course, although we will have a break for lunch.
All ingredients and tools are provided – please bring an apron and some lunch with you. Tea and coffee will be provided throughout the day.
